D-MACH is funded through the UKRI RICHeS scheme!

We are pleased and proud to announce that our new lab, D-MACH is being funded through the UKRI RICHeS scheme. Manchester Metropolitan University has been successful in winning nearly one million pounds in funding through the Arts and Humanities Research Council-run scheme. RICHeS aims to support investment in conservation and heritage science equipment and skills. Manchester Met were successful in winning support for D-MACH, the Centre for Digital Modelling and Analysis for Cultural Heritage, an accessible laboratory for the non-invasive 3D modelling and investigation of objects and artefacts of importance to cultural heritage.
Now our attention turns to provisioning and setting up the new lab, before we launch in 2026, and start to support UK researchers with our cutting-edge digital modelling and analysis equipment.
